Bombas Socks – Fit Armadillo

Bombas Socks

Bumbling Around in My
Bombas Socks – A Review

One of the most fun things about having a fitness business with an online presence, is that I often get to try out cool products for free 🙂

Well, most of the time this is awesome. Sometimes I have days when random pitches flood my inbox and that is just no bueno (please note: I do not like supplements and I will not, can not sell them, Sam I am...er…whoever you are so don’t bother bugging me about them).

The latest item I’ve had the pleasure of checking out is a pair of Bombas Socks.

I’ll be (hehe, get it? if not you will in a minute!) honest, before I even got my socks in the mail I had fallen in love with the company.

Once upon a time, I used to dream of becoming an entomologist so a sock company with a bee logo was bee-yond awesome to me (it’s almost too easy to keep adding in these bee moments, I can’t help myself!).

Once I got the socks? I was pumped to be welcomed to the hive and again impressed by the branding.

How can you not love a company that urges you to Bee Better and donates a pair of socks to someone in need every time you buy a pair?

So what about the socks themselves?

When I first picked them up, I was a little worried they were going to be too thick (yes, I noticed there was a chance to have be become bee there, but I decide to laid off this time…).

Even though I used to be a cotton sock girl, I’d recently replaced many of my old socks with Feetures socks and they are very thin. PLUS I live in Texas and it is HOT as H-E-double hockey sticks out. Any extra thickness or material anywhere can be bad news bears.

However, I gave them a chance and once I put them on I was impressed. My feet really DID feel pampered (and I didn’t even have to get a pedicure, even though I probably should, my feet are a hot mess)!!!

Then came the real test: running in the socks.

I had to run in my old shoes that day, because it was raining and I didn’t want to have to wear icky, wet shoes to my next personal training session.

I was a little worried that I’d get blisters, because of the thicker sock and old shoes, but I had no issues logging 4 miles in them.

I’m so grateful to have been able to check out the socks for myself.

And….

to have Bombas offer to pamper the feet of one of my teachers in the Teachers’ Tone Up Challenge (winner TBA manana!).

Thanks again, Anne and the Bombas team!

In a world full of clothing that will either poke your eye out or cause nerve damage, you are truly a welcome find 🙂
