Amy Myrdal Miller, MS, RDN, FAND, is an award-winning dietitian, farmer’s daughter, public speaker, author, and president of Farmer’s Daughter® Consulting, Inc., an agriculture, food, and culinary communications firm. She's had Type 1 diabetes for nearly 40 years. She believes that part of her success in living well with diabetes is her attitude. She shares lessons she's learned for managing Type 1 diabetes that we can all use to improve our health. You'll also learn two food groups you can include in your diet to reduce your risk of cardiovascular disease

Amy Myrdal Miller, MS, RDN, FAND, is an award-winning dietitian, farmer’s daughter, public speaker, author, and president of Farmer’s Daughter® Consulting, Inc., an agriculture, food, and culinary communications firm. Amy has worked for Dole Food Company, the California Walnut Commission, and The Culinary Institute of America. Today she works for a variety of clients
across the food system, including seed companies, commodity boards, colleges, and restaurants. While happily married, she often jokes about her relationship with "Gym" whom she visits 3-5 times each week. "Gym" makes her hot, sweaty, and happy. She also loves golfing, swimming, and walking in her neighborhood outside of Sacramento, California.
