Happy Tighten + Tone Tuesday! Last week I taught you how to calculate your ideal body weight. It was a great and informative post (if you missed it, you can catch that episode HERE). However, it left a few unanswered questions.
It’s great to know how much you should weigh, but that’s only a small part of what you need to know if you want to get healthy. If you need to lose weight to reach your goal, it’s imperative that you do so the healthy way. With the multitude of fad diets and crazy infomercials out there, however, going about a healthy weight loss journey can be beyond overwhelming.
That’s why this week I’m having you put away your calculator so I can share my 3 Keys to Your Healthy Weight Loss Journey and Common Mistakes to Avoid. After I made the video I realized I probably could have divided it into two blog posts and saved a whole day of video production (rats!).
However, I’m actually glad I included the end of the video in this week’s post. That’s because I don’t want you to waste any more time doing the wrong thing. Without giving away the whole video one of the most common errors I see is the use of popular fitness apps. If you’re using some of the common fitness tools to get to your goal body weight, you aren’t alone. Most of my new clients use them too. However, this is not a club you want to be a part of (or at least before you know how to use them properly). While these tools mean well, they can often do more harm than good.
