Tandoori Chicken Recipe
A Tandoori Chicken Recipe
I kept my promise of going from a tofu to a non-veg dinner this week, but I did continue the tandoori theme from last week. I swear I didn’t plan to make tandoori for two What’s for Dinner? Wednesday meals in a row. It was out of my hands. If you’re on my A-List you already know why 😉 If not make sure to get in the know today right now!
Speaking of the A-List, if you’re on it you also already know what you need to make Mr. Fit Armadillo’s Tandoori Chicken Recipe. However, if not here’s what you need:
Ingredients to Serve Tandoori Chicken to Four
1lb of chicken
1.5 cups of nonfat Greek yogurt
3 cloves of minced garlic
1.5 tbsp tandoori powder
Here’s how to put it all together:
Step One: Preheat your oven to 300 degrees (shouldn’t take to long). While you’re waiting, mix literally all of your ingredients together. If you’re not Indian by birth, it may seem weird to plan to cook yogurt, but just go with it!
Step Two: Cook your spicy chicken for 40 minutes.
Step Three: Find Mr. Fit Armadillo* to come over and finish the job on the grill until the chicken is blackened (or just turn on the broiler, but it won’t be as good!).
Step Four: Make your tandoori chicken the star of a delicious salad or your main dish 🙂
*Mr. Fit Armadillo is only available for cooking if you live near the beach and I can come come too 🙂
