5 Variations on the Plank, One of the Best Core Exercises
What are some of the best core exercises? I’m so glad you asked! This week’s Tighten + Tone Tuesday video is all about changing up core exercise staple, the plank.
Need to know what a core exercise is in order to decide if you want to know more about the best core exercises? I’ve got you covered 🙂 A core exercise is one that focuses on the core or center of your body, which means it targets your abs and your back. Learning some of the best core exercises, which are usually variations on the plank, will help you have better posture, prevent low back issues, and help you tighten and tone your abs. Sounds pretty good, right?
If you stopped by for last week’s Tighten + Tone Tuesday you already know that once you can hold your plank for 60 secs, it’s time to move on. Holding a plank for longer than a minute is OK, but it will take the emphasis off your ab muscles. Plus, it gets really boring, am I right?
This week I’m going to help you up your plank game and ab workout routine by teaching you 5 variations on the basic plank. If you need help with your plank form, make sure to check out last week’s video first by clicking here>>
